"Fun in the Sun!"

 Fort Wayne, October 16, 2009: Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival is excited to announce the Souvenir Button Design Contest for the 2010 Three Rivers Festival begins today!

What a great opportunity to let your "inner artist" shine!  All ages, youth to adult, are encouraged to share their creative vision for the 42^nd Annual Three Rivers Festival theme, "Fun in the Sun!"   There are no limits on the number of designs one may submit.  For complete design contest guidelines, please click the" Souvenir Button Design Contest Entry Form" below. 

One winning "Fun in the Sun!" design will be chosen by the Three Rivers Festival Marketing Committee, to be used extensively throughout Three Rivers Festival print and electronic advertising, and will be showcased on the 2010 Festival Souvenir Buttons, which are sold at multiple locations at The Festival and various retail locations throughout Fort Wayne.  

The contest winner will receive a VIP bundle of Three Rivers Festival merchandise, plus the opportunity to participate in both the Opening Day Parade and Art in the Park.

Souvenir Button sales help support many Festival events, including the Opening Day Parade, Art in the Park, Food Alley, Fest Unlimited, the Festival Pavilion, Super Seniors Day, Crafters' Market, Children's Fest, Marketplace and the Fireworks Finale. 

Deadline for entries is Monday, December 7, 2009.
