National City Parade

Come out and help us kick off the festival! Beginning back in the West Central neighborhood after years of absence, this parade will be something to see. We have the Voices of Unity Choir singing the national anthem, over 15 local high school Marching Bands participating, some Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders, and local “celebrities” as we will have the winners from our parade contest on the birthday float.

Verizon Event Pavilion

Come on down! Meet friends, drink beer, and dance the night away. The Verizon Event Tent is home to both local artists and national acts. In addition, we are working on plans for some new and exciting events. You won't want to miss out on the fun! Grab a chair and duck into the shade while you fill up on corn dogs, fried cheese, and funnel cakes!

Art in the Park

This show is a juried outdoor art showcase of local, regional, and national artists. The show will appeal to everyone. Art in the Park offers clothing to photographs, paintings to sculptures, and fine glassware to jewelry. This year will feature an outdoor café, the ever popular chalk walk, and a growing art alley. Come down, enjoy the show, meet the artists, and don’t be afraid to find the artist in you!

 

     


Sensodyne Fest Unlimited

Don’t limit your imagination, go wild at Fest Unlimited. Located in Headwaters Park East and West, Fest Unlimited has something for everyone from toddler to adult. Look for kiddie rides, helicopter rides, bungee jumping, a Climbing Wall, and a lot of other fun and exciting activities for the young (and not-so-young!). This year will feature some of Fort Wayne's favorites from past years, as well as new activities that are bound to entertain. Don't miss out on the fun!

Sprint Food Alley

Lining Duck Street, directly behind the concert pavilion be sure to stop by and get some of your favorite festival treats. Secure Horizons Super Seniors Day at the University of Saint Francis

Super Seniors Day is back and it’s better than ever! All of your favorites have returned, and we are offering a few exciting additions, too. You can enjoy the museum visits and experience expanded activities in the Expo Center. Bring your friends and join us for a round of Euchre or Bingo, or even the Nintendo Wii (or both, if you want to stay awhile!) Have a snack or two, and try out a few of our hands-on crafting activities. There will be a variety of entertainment throughout the day, and best of all... most Super Seniors activities are free! This year Super Seniors Day will take place at University of Saint Francis North Campus Building. Free Parking, and climate control make this an exciting change this year!

Fort Wayne Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge Dealers Fireworks Finale

If you did not get your fill of fireworks on the Fourth be sure to come to the Fireworks Finale. Bring your blanket down to Headwaters Park and watch the Festival go out with some pretty big bangs, with spectacles of colors that fill the night sky. It's also your last chance to hit Food Alley for an entire year, so come early! Join us as we end Festival 39 with another great Fireworks sendoff off from One Summit Square.
